KING TIRE INDONESIA SUPPORTS THE ACCELERATION OF ELECTRIC MOTORCYCLES, SUPPLYING FOX/POLYTRON MOTORCYCLE TIRES
PT King Tire Indonesia Tbk (Kingland) has signed an MoU with PT Hartono Istana Teknologi which is a manufacturer of Fox electric motorbikes. This two-wheeled vehicle will be equipped with Kingland tires.
Pengendara.com-The world of two-wheeled automotive is developing all the time. Currently the government is intensively supporting electric vehicles, both two-wheeled and four-wheeled. Especially for motorbikes, the development of battery-based motorbikes is becoming increasingly busy with manufacturers competing to introduce their EV motorbikes.
In signing the MoU, Kingland tires will make Fox electric motorbike tires, both Fox types S and R. The realization of Kingland tires embedded in Polytron electric motorbike rims will certainly maintain performance. Especially the stability, comfort and safety of motorbike driving.
“That’s why Kingland and Polytron carried out the felling equation to make the electric motorbike tire. The goal is to maintain the performance of safety parts well. “The EV motorbike tire compound must be smoother and quieter compared to universal motorbike tires,” said Joko Suseno, Marketing Division of PT King Tire Indonesia.
These battery motorbike tires must be quieter and grip the asphalt better. The quietness and stability of these tires will provide comfort and safety for motorbike riders without fuel. That’s why PT King Tire Indonesia will do its best to create Fox motorbike wheels.
It is hoped that with this collaboration, people who love electric motorbikes, especially Fox/Polytron motorbikes, will better understand the importance of comfort and safety when riding electric motorbikes. Tires are one of the things that really affect driving comfort.
As is known, the government of the Republic of Indonesia has made a policy. This policy is contained in Presidential Regulation (PERPRES) Number 55 of 2019 concerning the Acceleration of the Battery Electric Vehicle Program for Road Transportation.
“King Tire will continue to support the Presidential Decree and government policies in advancing electric vehicles in Indonesia,” said Joko.
According to him, for electric motorbikes the focus is on rolling resistance and energy saving. Use tires with rolling resistance or low rolling resistance to extend the distance on electric motorbikes.
“So, rolling resistance tires have two functions, namely saving energy, secondly extending distance because of good rolling resistance,” he explained.
