Kingland Able to Match Performance Race of First EV Conversion Motorbike in Indonesia as Official Tire

The second series of conversion motorcycle racing realized by PLN with the theme PLN EV Conversion EV has been successfully held, at the Sentul circuit, West Java, Sunday (13/10/24). At this moment, PT King Tire Indonesia, which is the official EV conversion, is proud, because its performance was able to match the first series which recorded a time of 102.880. The last series was faster than the first series, 101.656 (Reykat, BRT racing team). Racer Balank won second place and Deksa Almer from SMK Tribintang won fifth place.

In this second series, Kingland Tire lowered its special tire, namely CTX, which is suitable for conversion motorcycles. Which has a more stable grip and quieter vibrations. With thorough preparation and training in a fast time, Balank trained more optimally to face the last round of the race. Likewise with Kingland tires that have prepared everything.

He said that in this second round, almost all racers sharpened their time. This is a thrilling and longed-for race. Because PLN only opened the conversion motorcycle race in two series.

Nevertheless, he was very happy with the time achieved by Balank. A proud achievement, successfully climbing the podium, second place. Because of his success in winning second place, Kingland tires have proven to be tough and their performance can be relied on here.

“The Kingland tires used by Balank and Deksa are CTX007 type tires with a size of 90/80-14. CTX01 which has a size of 100/70-12 and 120/80-12 CTX 01. This Kingland CTX certainly has its own special features to be paired with the conversion motorbikes used by Balank and Deksa racers,” he said.

Kingland tires, which are Indonesian creations, are able to match other tires in the conversion motorbike racing segment.

Comments from Two Racers

There are two racers who use Kingland tires, namely Febrianus Balang and Deksa from SMK Tribintang. According to Balank, this is Febrianus’ nickname, Kingland tires are the right tires for conversion motorbike racing.

“For me, Kingland tires are very suitable for conversion and conventional races. However, what must be considered during the race is the right tire pressure and details with the weight of the racer. This Kingland tire is very suitable in the rain. Comfortable tires. Kingland is a five-star quality tire, affordable price,” said Balank.

He said, before he entered the second series, the preparations he made were physical and motorbike, be it the suspension, tires and so on. The suspension must be set as well as the tire pressure size that must be set. For the engine there is no change from the first series.

“Technically, conversion motorcycle racing is the same as conventional. The difference is the rhythm of the gas game. The more you full the gas, the hotter the conversion motorcycle and the battery runs out. While conventional motorcycles, the more you full the gas, the faster they go,” he said.

The same thing was also said by racer Deksa, Kingland is very good to use in conversion races. The proof is that he won fifth place in the last series of this conversion motorcycle race.
