SEMARANG, AYOSEMARANG.COM – Followed by 70 teams from Central Java with a total prize of IDR 60 million, Asprov PSSI Central Java launched Fruto Liga SSB Central Java 2022.

Asprov Central Java officially launched the 2022 Central Java Football School League (SSB) Fruto event at Push Up Coffee Semarang, Friday 1 July 2022.

The Central Java SSB League is an event for fostering early childhood football achievements in Central Java. Meanwhile, the organizer of the Fruto Liga SSB Central Java 2022 is the Central Java League Agency (BLJ) which was formed by Asprov PSSI Central Java to manage all football competitions held by Asprov PSSI Central Java.

Director of BLJ Erikda Ucok Hindratmo said, for the first year of holding the SSB League, Central Java this year received full support from Fruto, a beverage product produced by PT Intrafood Singabera Indonesia, located in Sukoharjo, Central Java.

“We are holding the 2022 SSB League in Central Java to provide a platform for SSB students in Central Java to excel at the Central Java level. As we all know, during the two years of the pandemic there was no football tournament, including the SSB level,” said the man who is familiarly called Ucok this.

“These brothers only practice and practice without competing. Now, this year we give them the opportunity to show their training results through the 2022 Fruto SSB League, Central Java level,” he continued.

Fruto SSB Liga Central Java 2022 will be held from August 4, 2022 and the Grand Final will be held on August 28, 2022.

In the first year of the event, which will be the annual agenda of PSSI Asprov in Central Java, 70 SSB teams from all over Central Java participated, namely 24 KU12 teams, 24 KU14 teams and 22 KU15 teams.

Ucok explained that the Fruto SSB League of Central Java 2022 will be held starting at the ex-residency level, namely in Semarang City, Batang, Purwokerto, Magelang Regency, Boyolali and in Grobogan. The total prize up for grabs is Rp. 60 million, with each age group having a prize of Rp. 20 million.

Furthermore, the champions in each age group in each former residency will perform at the provincial level which will take place at Citarum Stadium August 23-28 2022

“We are grateful to PT Intrafood who has supported our efforts to foster the achievements of these early childhood children, as well as to other products that also support us, namely JNE, Dragon, Kingland tires, Danone, PT Nurraga, and Push Up Coffee,” he said.

The chairman of the PSSI Central Java Asprov Yoyok Sukawi gave his appreciation to the SSB teams throughout Central Java who appeared in the Fruto SSB League of Central Java 2022. According to him, this event was a very good event to show Central Java level achievements.

“Central Java is a repository for great football players in Indonesia. They were born from SSB in Central Java,” he said.

Yoyok gave an example of the name Pratama Arhan, who at an early age also trained at SSB and now works at the Tokyo Verdi club, Japan. “Every generation of the national team, there are always players from Central Java and they all used to be SSB children,” he added.

Yoyok Sukawi, who is also the Exco of PSSI Center and CEO of PSIS, will also field a talent scout team for the Fruto Liga SSB Central Java 2022.

Those who are observed to be outstanding will be given the opportunity to practice at PSIS Academy and even have the opportunity to be sent to join Garuda Select who trains in Europe.

Meanwhile, General Manager of PT Intrafood Singabera Indonesia, Awang Prihandono, said that his party was very happy to be a part of fostering early childhood soccer in Central Java.
